Members Allen R. Posted July 3, 2008 Members Posted July 3, 2008 We floated the Kings River by the Kings River Outfitters in southern Berryville this past Sunday. It was my first float. There was a ton of rain from the storm on Friday night and Saturday day. We had a heck of a time controlling the canoe in certain currents. I'm just wandering if those conditions were kind of out of the ordinary for the Kings. Thanks.

This would be non typical for it since its normally a very moderate easy float. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Danimal Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 The gauge shows that it was in the low 4's on sunday. That's a bit higher than I like to float/fish below KRO but about right for the upper sections. Dan-o RELEASE THOSE BROWNIES!!
Lshack2 Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 The Kings is known to come up quickly and sometimes without notice. We put in at the 62 bridge one afternoon for a float to Grandview. there was a flash Tstorm near Huntsville and when we got back to the 62 Bridge the truck was almost under water.
