Fishing 7-1-08

I was able to get back on the river on Tuesday July 1st. I floated it with a good freind from St louis. Despite the higher than average water it was a safe float and the fishing was very good, we caught between us about 25 total fish. Island 4 and the run below it fished very well. We caught quite a few wild fish. My freind lost a huge one at Island three, took him into his back before he busted off. Also the forest service was clearing the right side of the first island, huge logs were floating by us downstream. We had the river to ourselves which is something you can't say about the famous rivers out west. Also most of the action happen before 2pm. I have attached a couple of pictures of the wild bows, this is my first attempt at attaching pictures. I thought we give a freinds at 11point some advertising, they are the best at catering to us fly fisherman
