bobber Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 floated from eurbie to pruitt in just under 2 hours! and then went back up to ponca and floated to kyles landing.... you bet that water was high, and muddy brown.but floating the head waters in july doesn't happen ,( some one in our group said it was at least 20 years that they could remember) and i just couldn't let that chance slip by... <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*
bobber Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 this weekend the water should be back to clear, had a great trip on friday missed the rush and got on the water mid-morning .and i should have waited until about 3 or 4 , the late afternoon bite was a ball!! never saw another person fishing the whole time i was on the river. but it was a hot one !! got back to the campground just in time to get (flash flooding in my tent).. it rained all night ,and part of the morning. and that made for some pretty muddy water that came up ! NOTE** there is a big tree almost all the way across the river just above ozark campground that you will have to walk around with low water levels ... <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*
