Members Joel Posted July 6, 2008 Members Posted July 6, 2008 For those who have been following the progress in Baghdad, I've posted another update. This one includes and interview with SFC Doug Anderson about his giant mangar - great story. There is also a new batch of fish photos from the guys. As some of the founding supporters reside here, I just wanted to let you know how far reaching your generousity is. Thank you all. Underway! Joel
Danoinark Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Thanks Joel for the update I know the guys here will appreciate it. To new members several of the folks here donated items, flies etc for the troops in Iraq for their fly fishing club. Here is the link to his update http://www.baghdadflyfishing.com/ http://www.flyanglers.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8735 Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
FishinCricket Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Awesome story and and amazing fish... One question though for those of you that are experienced... Are any of the fish over seas edible? None of those fish look like something I want to fillet and eat.... cricket.c21.com
trout fanatic Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 After looking at the size of that thing I could care less if it would taste good or not. Man that would be funnnnnn!!! Having said that, I wouldn't want to go to Bagdad to catch it and I wish all or our troops a safe trip home (the trout await bro)
