me, dad, an uncle, and a cousin made off fore the dam yesterday about 5:00. the weather didnt sound to good, but got the chance to go so off we went. it rained part of the way up but cleared about the time we arrived. my uncle caught a 9lbs flathead as soon as we got there i caught one that was maybe a pound or two soon after. i thought this was going to be a good night catching 2 cats even before dark. just about dark when the fishing should pick up the sky opened up and rain and lightning ran us back to the pathfinder. we set fore about an hour and the lightning moved so we went back to fishing caugt e few but called it quites about midnight. final score 4 whites 3 crappie and 1 flathead and 1 chanelcat. oh yea 4 very wet old men! it never stoped raining all night after it started. had a good time anyway, dont get to fish with my uncle and cousin very often. went out to the wifes pathfinder this morning and it smelled like 4 wet old men. gotta go try and get that smell out before she gets home and we leave fore vaction slider

Are they still running quite a bit of water up there. I'm thinking about running up there on Friday and I wonder if I need the boat or will the bank be alright?

Check out www.sterettcreek.com in the fishing reports is a Corp web site for Truman Dam, but they are suppose to run 50,000 CFS for the next few days, if can believe the Corp, My experience is that they can and will change things whenever they feel like it, especially when I load up and head down there to fish! Good Luck!
