When I fished the Jack's a couple of years ago, I caught "smallies, goggle eyes and brimm". No trout. I know there are trout on the Current river, but they are mostly further upstream, on the Current. He owes you.

Looks like the hubby is going to owe you a chicken dinner... I have never caught a Trout on the Jack's Fork, it's just too warm I think.. My guess is that if there are any trout in that stream it will be down very close to where it merges with the current.. good news is that if you do catch any trout on the fork they will probably be monstrous!

Lot's of smallies though...

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
