fox_76 Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Yes my boss just agreed that he would pay for a weekend at the roaring river resort, so I'll be down there the 1st of august to hit it up. never been trout fishing but I gotta try it from reading the posts from everyone on here. will be probably using a spinning reel so if you have any pointers for me please let me know!!! I've had decent luck with small rapalas (black and gold is a good one, so is brown trout) and small gold spoons (Little Cleo or Kastmaster). Good luck. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

Unfortunately no. but I'll keep you in mind if I have any openings!!! myabe I could just hire ya on as a guide for the weekend seeings how We are all pretty new at the whole trout thing. Can anyone help me out with the regulations on the river there at the resort, is live bait legal? Are there any Fly rod ony parts of the river? any info to avoid a ticket or getting my picture posted on here under look at these dumb *&%es would be greatly appreciated.. I didn't go to college,...
