Brian Wise
Fished a guy from KC and a guy from North Carolina today. Put in at ROLF floated to Blair. The fish were still a little "funny" as they were when Mr. Dally was here earlier this week. Caught a few fish in the morning but the bite just wasn't there like it should have been. As the day moved on the bite picked up and they were literally doing really well in what should have been the lull of a hot July afternoon including some browns. Finally got to do some sight fishing to a big, big brown. He never took but they enjoyed casting to him. Actually saw a ton of big browns moving today....probably the most I had seen since the high water. Taught some Czech Nymphing and both caught fish with that technique. One guy lost 2 real nice fish--he was sick. Chances are you may be able to read about this day in the near future. Hoovers, RL's, San Juans, and RFSN's Muleball, I stopped at the Patrick campground on my way home to see if anyone was parked there, didn't see a rig anywhere near the upstream bathroom (by the gate.) Saw a zoo of campers and didn't think I wanted to leave the boat unattended so sorry I missed you. Brian My Youtube Channel
Members Muleball39
I didn't get there until between 5 and 5:30 sorry I missed you, but I ended up catching 6 fish Friday evening up around the islands. There was a ton of campers and floaters this weekend including me but you were right I did see a lot of Browns moving while I was floating Saturday.
