rps Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 The time of year when the fish will be deep is upon us. This year I intend to try to master jigging spoons for bass and walleye. I used to use the method a lot on white bass and stripers when I lived and fished in Oklahoma. I had a couple of good largemouth trips with them as well. My question is this: Has anyone experience with the free style jigs? They look like they are deadly and like they have advantages.
ryan Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 XPS makes some good ones, I like plain chrome or copper depending on the weather. I like throwing them into docks and out off long points, let them flutter down then rip them off the bottom.
