Stockton Lake Guide Service Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 If you like to bass fish stockton lake, don't forget to show up thursday evening at 6 pm to fish the thursday evening tournaments. Last week it only took 3.22 lbs to win the tournament. 2.22 lbs took 2nd place. The more boats that show up, the more money and places we can pay. 100% payback!!! If you would like some more information, give me a call or take a look at the web site. Whack'emGood Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 3.22lbs??? Really? Sounds like it was a hum-dinger. I guess it doesn't really surprise me for fishing before dark this time of year... We usually don't catch'em until after dark. Did guys catch fish and just no keepers, or did nobody catch fish period? How many boats did you have last week? If I can't catch them on the conventional tackle that I already use, then I guess I just can't catch them." -LK (WHACK'EM)
Stockton Lake Guide Service Posted July 29, 2008 Author Posted July 29, 2008 there were lots of fish caught, but just not many keepers. I had one that went 14.99, but couldn't make it measure. We need more boats to make this thing happen, so help us talk it up and get some guys on the lake!! Whack'emGood Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Bob- We have a tourney at TR this Saturday night but... we might be able to make it up there in the next few weeks. Until then... good luck! Members bigfish Posted July 31, 2008 Members Posted July 31, 2008 Bob you should do what the crappie tourn. did and put out flyers at Trantham's Bait and tackle I know them very well and can have him tell everyone that walks through his door I would fish them but don't have a big enough boat or an aerated livwell so count me out. I can share some info at Old Hartley Cove I have been going to the back of it and catching good keeper LM had one the other day that was 5 1/2 pounds and my boss caught one that was 5 2 weeks ago lots of keepers that went 15 1/2 all caught on white crankbaits or black buzz baits at night hope this helps we have been catching lots of LM
