New Fish Finder

I am getting ready to buy a new boat and would like to put a nice fish finder on it. It will be mainly used for catfishing. I dont mind spending money on one and wondering which is the best any suggestions please let me know. Thanks I would like to keep it around a thousand or less and i am looking at the hummingbird 797

I have a hummingbird 997c. it is the greatest locator i have ever seen. hummingbird has several smaller models that do basicly the same thing, at a lower cost.
