Hey fellas, just joined and live in Kirkwood Missouri. I grew up cabin fishin off the Gasconade River. I don't have the cabin anymore but still love to fish the Goggle eye, Trout, Pannies, and of course the Bass - both sorts. I mostly yak fish on the rivers or do the canoe when the ole lady and the dogs want to come along. Since moving to the city, solo camping and fishing has become the way to go for me just to get away from the job and the rest of the BS that goes on here.

Hope to give some input and learn alot too.

Ah, good ol St Lou. Left that place six monthes ago to live done here. Much better being here. People are great cost of living is low. Unless your looking to be right on the water. Welcome! Say hi to my mom and dad!

Welcome!! I'm out in a burb to the west of you, closer to Busch Wildlife. There are at least trout here in the winter, closer drive than the Roaring River or Capps, but for a SWMO boy, it ain't home. Jobs are more available and pay better, but where are those clear, cool streams of my Ozarks home? 3-4 hours away!!
