Aug 4th Report

I made it out on bull creek yesterday at about 4:00 and we found the fish. I was just having a severe problem trying to keep a good hookset. I boated the first fish to bite, a short KY. and after that I could only manage to get two more fish into the boat, one 14" and one 14 1/2" LM. I had three good bass throw my hook, and lost another 12 fish, all were shorts or squeakers. We came up on one spot way up in Bull where I had five Smallies demolish the jig I was tossing. Couldn't get a solid hookset on any of them. All in all I had a blast, but I have now carried a three day curse. I am going to take a few days off and maybe it will pass

I'm just happy to hear a lower report I don't really know how to react. I think when time permits I will ask you more details about your jigs and such. Maybe tonight.
