With the water going down fast, have any of the bottom-oriented fish pulled out to the 32-40 depths they should be this time of year or are they still in that 20-25 range???....

I am still catching several fish in the 8'-20' range. They are eating like I have never seen for the month of August. Catchem while you can. I am having my best luck on the gravel banks that you would generally imagine throwing a grub on in April.

You can look back and mirror the grub reports of april and replace it with a PBJ Jig and have a good trip.

Good advice. Simple and to the point. Its been working for me all summer. Not typical, but the fish don't seem to care.

Well that will help, but there are some already out there, found one spot yesterday morning, fish where suspended at the 25 foot range in over 115 feet of water, just have to find structure in that magic 15 - 25 foot range. I should be neat to see what happens when they shut the Dam down for repairs next weekend, that will kill all flow that is holding these fish on the points. Maybe a trigger? Not sure? Let's see what happens..

So I guess they will probably have to turn the water off before they go out....

I think they may go into shock when the current shuts down. :o Didn't know they were shutting down next weekend, planned on doing a little full moon night fishing. Maybe I'll just forget it.
