Places To Eat

Hey Guys

We are looking for a few good places to eat when we come down next week. We would like a good steak that does not require a coat and tie to sit down, or a second mortgage. We would also like a place to get some good fried crappie. I know, I know, fried after a bypass do not go together, but there are some things that we refuse to give up.

Any other places would be appreciated. We are staying in Kimberling City, but we will drive just about anywhere within the Branson area.

I discovered Two Fat Daddy's about 2 years ago. I've tried about every BBQ joint in Branson and they are the best, in my opinion. The ribs are to die for. Here's a link for you: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&safe...=1&ct=image

Dana's has very good BBQ. They have a location at Fall Creek road and 165 if you are headed back to KC from Tany, and they also have a location closer to KC, just north of KC on 13.

I like it cause you can get good food quick and yu don't need to change out of your fishing duds.

I am not sure about steak

The bowling alley at KC has great pizza by the way.

I would have to say the best steak in town is Candlestick Inn on the Bluff across from the landing For 2 it will run about 65-70 bucks kin of pricey but very good. There is a Mexican restaurant at the landing that is awesome my wife and I are in love with it, plus they have one of the bone in rib eye that I have ever had.

Rundy's on 13 in between Kimberling City and Branson West is good.

Make the drive over to Shell Knob and go to The Steak Inn... make sure you order the "Boss Cut"! They have a great salad bar too.
