I've heard about the Mexican place at the Landing but not tried it.... yet...

Pricey leaves out Ocean Zen and Radizzo in Springfield, but both excellet...

Candlestick is a good choice, but Montana Mike's is pretty good and less expensive.

Go to Harter House and buy a couple of steaks and bring them over to Michael's and have him fire up his grill for ya.... He'll even provide the beer!!! AND the fried Crappie!!!

What's that place by the gas station there on 76 that has hotdogs and burgers? GREAT dogs and burgers... It's right by a chinese place if I remember right...

We plan on spending too much time fishing to have time to cook

Oh... welll... in that case I'm sure he'll load up the grill and stop by Harter House and the beer store for ya and bring everything down to the pavillion and have the steaks ready when you come out of the water... candlelit steak dinner at the pavillion... Michael makes a great French chef... How do you like your steaks? And Leonard could be your French waiter....

Has anyone had dinner at the Keeter Center?

Brunch there is excellent.

Candlestick is about the view of the Landing. They have a new chef and owner I understand.

Anything on the Landing is going to be 15% higher than anywhere else because of the rent they are paying.

Cantina Laredo has been very good 5 out of 6 times we have been there. The other time was awful service and fair food. Maybe I should have had 3 Margaritas (they are great) and I wouln't have cared about the food.

There was a place featured in the News-Leader I think called Jacks Place??? Not sure and he is a retired major league b-ball player with a heck of a prime rib sandwich. On the top floor of a hotel??? Have not tried it but supposed to be good.

Outback (not the national chain) on Hwy 76 has good steaks. Not cheap. But good.

Keep em coming boys. Looks like Candlestick is a fan favorite. It sounds a bit high brow. Can I go there without a a jacket?

Still looking for that place with great Fried Crappie? No local favorites here?

Terry, not to sound totally lame, but who is Michael? I am use to user names.
