Fished a great guy from Fort Scott today. If you were going to dream up a perfect day for August this would have been it, high in the low 70's with rain pretty much all day.

Put in at ROLF, floated to Blair and fishing was better than any trip I have had during any summer. No telling how many fished were rolled and missed but landed several, several rainbows from 5" to 15". Hooked another good brown in seriously fast water that ran into the backing but yet again--it was lost. Even with the rain and overcast conditions the fish were super deep and at one point we had 7'+ between the indicator and the lead fly. If you come here fish deep, I can't stress it enough!!
