Hey guys, I've had a lot of great responses and questions regarding the nets. Here's the deal, I am currently making another "group" of nets, and will post up when I've got that run finished. I'm anticipating having them done sometime in October, as I've got a trip or 2 to take in September. As I get those finished up I'll post pictures.

I currently have 3 nets available for sale, with pictures listed below.

The first is a canarywood / maple handle with poplar / cherry / poplar basket.

The second is curly maple / padauk handle with cherry / poplar / cherry basket.

(the back side of the handle of this net has a pretty cool "inclusion" in it....just fyi....)

The third is mahogany / walnut handle with walnut / purpleheart / walnut basket.

Each net has a "marking dot" at 20" and has a lanyard ring attached. VERY reasonably priced at $75.00 a piece plus shipping.

PM me if interested. Thanks.

Updated......the Canarywood net is still available and the other two have made it to their new homes. I put a lot of time and passion into these things and I can't wait to see some "fish pics" of the nets in action. I've got another batch of nets in the works now, so I will post up pics when the new ones are finished. I'll let the guys who got nets chime in if they want to about their thoughts on the quality and construction.

Thanks!

Steve,

I may have asked before... But... I'm a member of a Woodworking forum http://www.woodworkingtalk.com/ and would like to post pictures of your work. But I'd rather you join the forum and share some knowledge...

With your permission... of course...

Steve I just wanted to reiterate how nice your work is. I think the late Ed Story had some wooden nets made for him to sell that had a wooden lip on the end of the handle so he could clip on his wading belt. Have you seen those, and how hard would they be to integrate into your design. Those would be great for folks who don't use a vest or shirt with a d ring.

Hello everyone!!! I'd just like to back my brother up! I am the proud owner of the mahogany / walnut handle with walnut / purpleheart / walnut basket net (the last one pictured.)

If you are looking for a wonderful piece of american craftsmanship to display proudly off the back of your sweat stained vest (that hasn't been washed in umpteen years), I highly recommend one of Steve's nets. I have been very pleased with not only the net, but dealing with Steve. He has been very prompt, very professional and very pleasant. There ya have the praises for service, now let the lovefest for the product begin!

Friends, I am not blowing smoke......the pictures are beautiful, but when you recieve your own net handcrafted by Steve, then you are going to be blown away!

I can see what is going to happen......those of us who are privileged enough to own one of Steve's nets are going to catch the fish of a lifetime, land it with the net, take a picture of it with the net, then show all of our buddies the pictures and gleam with excitement because we have proof that we caught that 27" Wild Cutthroat on a size 28 midge with 8x tippet on our zero weight rod and they will respond with nothing else but "whereja get that net?" I'm thanking you ahead of time!

All jokes aside, I love the net!

Thanks!!!

Kevin
