Members D.T. Posted September 4, 2008 Members Posted September 4, 2008 Wow, I dont check the forum for 24 hrs and someone went and raised Tablerock almost 2 feet. Did you guys get a lot of rain down there? I still have almost 2 months before my fall trip so there is still hope for a normal fall level. Dave
Dawgsquat Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 We got 3.5 inches here in Omaha (about 12 miles south of Taneycomo). It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
DoveTail Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 From the radar image summary, it looks like all of SW Missouri received at least 2" with most areas up to 4". Some small isolated areas just north of Springfield only 1" but up to 8" in Kansas. That will make the fall fishing tough in the tailwaters.
Snow Fly Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 The big browns will be there except you will probably end up fishing from a boat "God gave fishermen expectancy, so they would never tire of throwing out a line"
Members itsdesignateddave Posted September 5, 2008 Members Posted September 5, 2008 Just got back from most of a week at Lilley's. Monday was nice, but it was raining all Tues evening, all day Wednesday, and some this morning. I'm not a good guesser, but I would say at least 3-4 inches of rain on the lake itself.
