What Is A Good Float On The Elk

i'm new to northwest arkansas and looking to float the elk maybe this weekend.

wondering what a good float for me and wife would be. we will be in kayaks and will probably need a shuttle. are there any good outfitters that run shuttles? also with the rain this week, will water conditions be dangerous?
