Members JPF Posted September 4, 2008 Members Posted September 4, 2008 Hey All I moved down to the St Louis area in May but have been so busy that I haven't been able to think about fishing. I spent 14 months working in Chicago and then transferred to STL area. Before that time I lived in north central Wisconsin and did a lot of wild Brookie fishing on small creeks in that country side. I'm hoping to be able to find a few small streams closer to "home" to fish without the hours of travel. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also what are the laws on access to water in MO? Wisconsin has the navigable waters law that if at any time of the year you can float a boat you can walk it if you keep in the water and dont tresprass to get to the water.
zander Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Hello and welcome. Your questions about access have been popular items of discussion on the forum in the past. I would suggest reading this thread: http://ozarkanglers.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7022
