Sam Potter Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Water conditions have changed over the past two days. Strong storms have brought some much needed water to this area. The river is up, and running a lot of debris. There was an excellent caddis hatch in the afternoon, an excellent BWO hatch and an excellent midge hatch in the afternoon. The fish were not paying a lot of attention to the bugs however. I guess the water conditions had a lot to do with that. The fishing was a little slow, if you measure by the numbers of fish caught, but I did manage to catch some nice browns on streamers. It was a lot of work and I covered a lot of water to find them. Members Tailwater Posted March 16, 2006 Members Posted March 16, 2006 Sam--how bad is the water down there? Looks like it's back down again, but has it changed from the chocolate milk color I'm sure you had after the storms?
