Members Aaron Mills Posted September 11, 2008 Members Posted September 11, 2008 I was planning to fish wildcat to cotter this weekend if the rain doesn't wash things out. I have waded wildcat and the shoal looks like it's pretty tricky to get a boat through. Any tips for navigating through there? how much water needs to be running to make that reasonably easy to get through wild cat. any other stretches on that part of the river to watch out for? or better spots to focus fishing? I probably will put in at cotter and motor up to wildcat and drift down. thanks a lot. good fishing aaron
Jeremy Hunt Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 They kicked seven units on today. Maybe not so good for the weekend. If we do get alot of rain, we coulod see the same pattern this upcoming week. Lets cross our fingers because the fishing is really good. Some of the best since I've been fishng it. Accept the drift.....<>>><flysandguides.comVisit my blog
rps Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Unless you find two days in a row of no generation, there will be chutes to travel down stream from Wildcat to Cotter. Uptream requires some water every day and some knowledge. My buddies and I always arranged to be the dumb Okies who bungled down river. It is an effective technique. Try it.
