hey guys been kinda tossin around the idea of going to springfield lake or fellows for a day of fishin anyone have a report for either of them in the past week or so

hey GG,

i try and fish springfield lake every week. this past saturday i saw a record number of boats out on springfield (25 boats at least). i got on the lake at 530 and fished as much of the weed beds as i could. i ended up with 10 fish and probably 10 missed strikes (most of them being fish knocking the buzz bait out of the water 2 feet). i was fishing a strike king white buzz bait with a paca chunk in watermelon candy with a trailer hook. i also fished the bluff side between the park and the nature center with crankbaits and caught one 3 lb LM. pretty good day i left the lake at 130. good luck to u. nathan.

I hit Springfield lake this afternoon to try a motor I just bought. Took a little time out to fish while I was there. Caught two bass in the slot on crankbait in about 13 fow.
