Bman Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Rick, Where on the river did you fish? What were ya catching? The only good line is a tight line
Members Rick Bruder Posted November 1, 2008 Members Posted November 1, 2008 Rick, Where on the river did you fish? What were ya catching? Hi Bman, We fished the Eureka area and we caught kentucky's, largemouth, smallies and a few crappie. Most of the fish came on jigs and tubes. My boy Jeremy and I had a good time. The fish are really getting ready for winter. I been hearing from everyone that fishing has been really good on all the rivers. Nice trout. Rick
Bman Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Rick, Thanks. I put in at the Rt 66 State Park ramp and run up from there. That ramp is 5 min from where I live. Wondering if we've seen each other on the water. I run a 1752 jet jon w a 90 hp 2 stroke yammie. The only good line is a tight line

I run in the evening after work and sometimes on the weekends. I like to fish the gasconade and the osage river the most. The Meramec is fishing so good I will propably fishing it more often now that its starting to cool down. I run a 1960 legend ss white with a white salt water series E-tec. 225HO. I'm less than 15 minites from the 66 state park too. I'm sure I will see you soon on the river and I will be on the look out for your boat. Good luck fishing. Rick
