So, I was wondering if anyone has made it down below the dam and had any luck? Have they been able to restock the area? I know with the weather starting to get cooler the trout fishing is going to start picking up all over and below the dam at Tenkiller is one of my favorite spots! Any information would be great!

There has been too much generation to wade for a few weeks now. The last I heard, the water temps are still too high to stock trout. That will change when lake Tenkiller turns over, which could be any day now.

Bad news on the LI. I received this yesterday

Hey Scott,

Just wanted to let you guys know that temperatures in the lake are still roughly 72 on the surface and 70 on the bottom. Temperatures in the trout stream are a couple of degrees warmer than that. When we will be able to resume stocking is still unknown but it doesn’t look like it will be very soon. We are planning for another press release to notify everyone. Please pass along.

Sounds like we shouldn't put up the big guns just yet... I think that the Striped Bass should still be up in the Lower Illinois. I haven't talked to anyone about the Bass in a while. It would seem that everyone is still worried about the trout. I can't wait for the trout to be fishable again but goodness those stripers are a hoot!

I guess that after tonight I'll try and convince mom to take me out there one morning to try to hook up with one.

By the way, does anyone know what the temperatures in the Arkansas are right now?
