mcp633 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 My dad and I took off for the lake this morning in search some crappie. We found them. We put in at Coffman and headed up towards Indian Creek and fished back down to the ramp. We got on the water about 10:00AM. Hit a few spots that dad fishes regularly this time of year. Fished yellow and green tubes under an indicator anywhere from 2-4 ft. around brush. We were off the water at 2:30PM with a limit of good size crappie each. The water is still very clear. I guess not enough rain the other day to stir it up. As a side note, some of the storm damage around that area was unbelievable. Several docks were flipped over on their tops on the bank, boats turned over, and at many houses destroyed. You could see where the storm tracked down one hill, crossed the lake and headed up the hill on the other side. Amazing . If you don't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them
