MOBass Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I need some help. My daughter's art teacher needs some carp for doing fish prints. At one time there was a pretty good population around Rockaway but I have not seen them in a long time. Does anyone have a good carp hole they could share with me? I only need one or two fish on the smaller side for this. The teacher suggested bass as an alternative and I wasn't too keen on that idea. Any help would be appreciated.
Trav Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Boys camp cove and the back end of the Bull Creek shelf. Bobbers and corn will do the trick. Just stay to your right and you will find all you want. If you get to the Island, you went to far back. There is a mix of white carp and regular carp. Lots of drum as well. flyfishmaster Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 MOBass, Here are a few carp pictures for you. The National Geographic channel is going to be airing a new show telling stories of some large fish that have been caught, including this, the world's largest carp. It sounds like a pretty cool show.
