My 8 yr old daughter decided that she wanted to do some Monday Night Perch Fishing instead of some Monday Night Football. Fine by me, lets go. So after the kids dug some worms, the whole family loaded up and we headed down to Hickory Creek. It didn't take long before her and Dylan were bringing them in. It wasn't fast a furious but it kept her busy. Dylan was doing a great job of coaching her. How funny it was that he didn't even take a rod as he was there to teach his little sis the finer points of perch jerking. He sounded like he was her father. Too funny.

Meanwhile, I had my rod in hand to do a little messing around. I ended up with a handful of chubs two goggle eye and almost one trout from the handicap area on the north end.
