Fall Crappie Camp

Join the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Darryl Morris of Family Fishing Trips and Jerry Blake of Action Fishing Trips Oct. 24-26, at Lake Greeson in southwest Arkansas for Fall Crappie Camp.

Anyone interested in learning how to catch, cook and lie about catching crappie is welcome to join the fun free of charge.

Keith “Catfish” Sutton and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Fisheries Biologist Drew Wilson will give a seminar at the Interpretive Center in Daisy at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 25.

Local guides Darryl Morris and Jerry Blake will be available to teach anglers how to read their electronics better, how to set up your boat for the best results and how to make bamboo crappie condos to create new honey holes.

Darryl and Jerry also will provide a list of GPS coordinates of some crappie condos to attendees, so that everyone can get out on the water and catch some fish.

Enjoy a potluck fish fry and camaraderie Saturday evening.
