I had to make a trip to see Tim on Friday and decited to run down to the river for a little while. Tim said they turned loose 30 lunkers Thursday evening. I didn't get a chance to look around and hunt for them but I did get to fish a half hour before heading to work. I started around the lodge and noticed the river level to be great. The rains this year have been good for the parks but not for Taney. I caught C&R 6 and had to head out. The weather was wonderful!!!! Durn work!! The river was a little stained but sight fishable! Durn work!! I heard they were turning loose a bunch of browns for C&R?? That would be great!!
