hoglaw Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 So, I'm getting married this May. My fiancee and I are planning on going to Turks and Caicos for our honeymoon. Has anyone ever been? I like to spearfish on exotic vacations, but it's not allowed in these islands. No problem, this place is apparently a bonefishing paradise. I have no real desire to charter a trolling or bottom fishing rig. Been there, done that plenty of times. I have not, however, had an opportunity to wade-fish flats. Has anyone here done much bonefishing? I have a decent 10wt and large arbor reel. It's not really a saltwater rig, but I don't mind sacrificing it and/or soaping and oiling each night. Anyone have any quick reference to good bonefishing reading materials for beginners? I'm an experienced fly-fisherman, but have never had to worry about tides and other salt-water issues. Any advice would be appreciated.
