Well, I took another trip to Capp's. I went down stream this time. It recieves less fishing pressure than the other parts of the creek and for good reason too. At least for me anyway, it seem to have less trout. It didn't let me down this time either. All chubs today, not a salmonid to be had.

The first pic here is where Capp's and Shoal Creek meet.

Again, these pics are just to give you an idea of what Capp's looks like, they, in my opinion, have no artistic value.

Its funny that as I was fishing this lower section, I got to wondering if this section could actually be floated. In a kayak I think it could. I dismissed it as a crazy thought. Then I happened upon this brush pile and look at what is sticking out of the top. I guess somebody else thought they could too. Thanks for the paddle.

Nice pics, Chief. They look kind of artsy fartsy to me. I don't see your thumb in any of them. You got to like that river booty. I found a brand new rod and reel combo up on the Little Sac last year. Still had the plastic on the cork. Turns out a friends' friend said he lost it. So, I gave it to him. Not sure if he was blowing stuffing or not, but I'm sure he put it to use.

I went crappie fishing on Table Rock today. Caught three keepers before my trolling motor decided to crap out. It gave me three beep beep beeps before signing off. I was tempted to unhook it and send it to the bottom of the lake.

Hey, why don't you sneek over towards Capp's next Sunday? If you don't have a fly rod don't worry, I'll be bringing a spinner along with the flyflinger.

Those are good pics, but don't you worry there are some nice trout in that part of the creek, I've seen and caught few really nice bows and browns out of there.

I was fishing with a guy once who thru a bugger in where shoal and capps come togeather, and he had a real nice brown on, it would have went 24" real easy.

But this was in feb. the water was a little higher and there were several trout in there that day.

I have caught a lot of trout out of the holes above the bridge(bridge above where shoal and capps come togeather.

Holler some time thru the week and I'll come over and fish with you.

I can't fish during the weekends, I have my reagular 3hr a day job, fri, sat, and sunday.

Thurdays a good day for me.

I used to only live 15 minutes from Jolly, we used to fish it quite a bit.

I agree with you above the brigde. I do pretty good too. From the bridge to Shoal Creek is not as good for me. But boy do I love the looks of the water.

Thanks for the invite to fish. I will take you up on that. Would like to do a trip on Crane with you too.
