Kansas Fly Fisher Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Go ahead and rub it in Glad you had a good time though. I've been wanting to go now for two years running and every year something comes up to prevent me! Maybe next year. Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
Brian Wise Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Great to meet you Leonard! You already have me tying the 'roo bug!! Thanks Man... Had a good time too. Coolest thing, casting a Harry Boyd 'boo 100+ feet...I've definitely never done that before!! Didn't get a chance to cast the Dorber rods, but did check them out and they are pretty nice. Danoinark Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Brian Good to see you and your family again, always a pleasure. You know Dorber may have something with that new weave process. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Brian Wise Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Good to see you again too Dano. Parker was getting pretty ready to go home or I would have talked to you more The rod Dorber had in the case was a really nice looking rod, wood handle and so on. Don't know if I would want a wood handle to fish with but it sure did look perty. Brian My Youtube Channel
Danoinark Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Brian Jeff told me that was a one of a kind it was model #1, the rest will not have wood handles unless one asked for it. I haven't cast the new generation of blanks from Dorber yet. Just didn't have the time on Saturday. Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
