which area would Indian Pt. be described in? Thank you in advance..

No such thing as a silly question.

TR is a large lake with a lot of different names for different landmarks and a lot of "local" names that do not appear on maps. (Just don't ask where Mill Creek is because I know of at least 4 of them).

Indian Pt. is 2-3 miles from the dam on the N side of the lake as you go upstream toward Kimberling City.

I don't know if it helps, but Silver Dollar City is considered on Indian Point.

Get Up In The Air,

If we were flying over Indian Point in a helicopter or small plane, we would notice it looks very much like an Indian arrowhead sticking out into the lake. Well that's exactly how it got it's name and how you can indentify on a lake map, plus you'll see Big and Little Indian Creeks flowing along side of it with Coombs Ferry Penniseula straight across from it. It is where Silver Dollar City is located and now you can see the Buzz Saw Roller Coaster sticking up above the tree line on the point when approaching from the west, by lake.
