jay bird Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Great video!!! Did you see any topwater action? I saw the binos and the Red Fin so was just wondering.
BlueWave Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 SK, Thanks for the tips last year. I am amazed that you can fish that many rods and not have a tangled mess when you hook a good one. I fish 2 rods and seem to get lines tied around everything including my ears! I planned on fishing Lost Bridge area next week but may have to trailer to the rivers. Love your posts, keep them coming.
Samkam1 Posted December 20, 2008 Author Posted December 20, 2008 We did see some fish coming up but they wouldnt take anything on top. We always have the bino's handy...you never know what your going to run across out there :-)

No problem! We enjoy helping folks catch these fish any way we can. They are so much fun and we are really just figuring things out ourselves. We can run 14 rods out of this boat pretty comfortably. The key is planer boards and different sizes of weights to spread things out.....will usually go down to 6 or 8 if we get into the fish.. We have had 6-8 fish on at once a time or two...the most we've landed is 5 at once. Basically have to feel for the biggest one and lock the others in the pole holders until you get to them. Fun times!!
jay bird Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Yes always have binos on my boat great for glassing for top water action. In the summer we turn more to bird watching . You always have to keep a look out for the RED BREASTED FINCHES they are fasinating to watch
