Fishing Report 12/19

The fishing seemed to be fair for most people today the ones I caught came on a white jig. I was just working it off the chunk gravel bottom. I got frustrated with the fly rod due to the wind so all of them were on a spinning rod. But the guys fishing around me were catching them left and right with hackles. Im just not as good as they were with a fly rod. I did end up with a nice one that was about 18 inches but all the other were stocker size. When i was leaving i did notice some suspicious behavior. There was a guy setting in a new lexus a spot over from my truck when I and a couple other guys came up to the parking lot he just sat there a couple of minutes and kept looking around like he was watching for somthing, after a few minutes he left. When i was leaving he was parked in the nexted parking lot just sitting in his car again do the same thing. I'm not sure what he was up to, but he defintley wasn't going fishing were a long slieve button up collar shirt. Good luck fishing!

Wow!! what a witch hunt...... I come down to the upper lake when I'm in the area for work. I wear a suit and a button up shirt. Am I up to something except fishing? You bet, I'm down there checking out the water and wishing I was fishing instead of working. I'm all about keeping personal issues out of public eyes just like the rest of you but I think this wondering and suspicion has gotten out of hand. Guess I can't come down unless properly dressed.........Just a thought

Scudman, sorry if i affended you. But it was a little wierd when the guy couldn't even see the water from both locations that he parked at.

Scudman, don't take it the wrong way, man. We're all looking out for everyone's best interests - it's called good citizenship. If you weren't doing anything wrong, don't get your hackles up. We've all got to protect what belongs to everyone and considering the indecent behavior in the dam area recently, fisher19 is justified in noting his surrounding as he did.

Perhaps a friendly wave would have allayed his suspicions.(?)

If I wasn't doing anything Wrong???? Not sure what that means troutchaser but I believe you said exactly what I commented in my post. My hackles are fine, just making a point. No offense was taken in the original posting. This kind of discussion is what begins to cause trouble, hence the end of the last post related to this topic. With That said lets end this... Have a very Merry Christmas!!!!!
