I'll probably get one next year. So far I like the Trout Unlimited Colorado model on EBay for $420.00 shipped. Ive seen others rated for rougher water. The ones with standing platforms cost several hundred dollars more. My cousin states I need a light weight model in case I need to carry up banks and distance. Any suggestions?

we sell em through my work, and can get alot more than whats listed on the website. Get one made with a heavy denier 1200+ which will toughen it up and prone to less punctures etc.

You mention, "get alot more than listed on the website." What exactly are you talking about? Different boats or more options? I've been interested in a pontoon boat but just haven't found the one that suits me. Although, I would agree, the TU boat has been the one I like the most so far.

The Colorado's raise some questions, whats the denier of the fabric, can you get replacement bladders easily, and does the frame break down? I know I don't think I would like a steel frame, but maybe thats because I've never had one. They are heavy, but its hard to tell if thats the steel frame or if the tubes are heftier.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

ill have to get a list of what is possible to get from my work, for instance we can get fishcats and some TU pontoons that arent listed in the catalog or in the store/ internet. The boats may be purchased through bass pro but the boats never touch the companies hands and are drop shipped by the manufacturers, etc. I will retrieve a list of what we can get and the replacement parts available from my manager this week.
