Rod Refurbishing

Gordon has been working out of my shop for several years, he has fixed several rods that

I figured were trashed, he fixed an old winston for a customer of mine this week, matched the

thread just perfect and you can't tell where the rod was broke, really unless you knew it had

been broke in 1/2, you would never know. He has rebuilt, refurbished a lot of bamboo rods the

past few years, and does a fantastic job, and his prices are to cheap, I've been telling him for

awhile now he needs to charge more, so next time you have a real rod problem, give him a

holler. He makes a lot of his own rod components, reel seats, and inserts stuff like that.

Thanks for the info. My son has a old bamboo rod that is in need of refurbishment.
