flyfshn Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Ditto! Thanks Phil and all that grilled, etc. Was there until 2 and then had to take my son back to Lilley's Landing so he could pack up and had for Arkansas to do some duck hunting. Didn't get a chance to come back and put faces with some of the names I dont know. I think this is the 2nd outing I have attended and failed to meet Terry!! Also wanted to meet Dano! Oh well, will give us another reason to attend next year. Was a great time.....Thanks again to all!! Fish On! Mike Utt “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery. Flyfshn, dang it, sorry I wasn't able to shake your hand..we will one of these days. Great food, fellowship and fishing. I was on a mission to help my grandson catch some and we did get one to the net. It just confirms that its not the quantity of fish but the quality of who you fish with. That goes for all you great folk. Terry I will add some to your picture page soon as I can get a roundtuit. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
zander Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Unfortunately I had to work today so I couldn't make it, but I have decided this will be the last New Year's Day I volunteer to work so I'll be down there next year. Maybe by then my son will be old enough to be down there be down there with me. Phillip
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Sorry I had to miss yet another get together. Work kept me pretty busy into the wee hours last night and then had to pull what was suppose to be a double today. Greatfully it ended up only be a 36 hour shift vs. a 48. But it was still too late to make the journey. Hopefully when things start to slow down we can make another quick get together. Have a safe and happy new year! Dawgsquat Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I enjoyed it. It was a beautiful day. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
