So it looks like it will be a nice day tomorrow and im planning my first RR trip of 09! Based on the other posts, it looks like the trout are biting! I often read posts about people going to places that I apparently cant find when im there! Ive guess ive only ever been to zone's 1 and 2..maybe 3??

I guess im asking how to get other places. Im coming from Fayetteville and come in to the park up by the Resort. Which way do I need to head to get to the other places, perhaps the ones closer to the end of the park?

Also, any suggestions on what to use? Im sure ill swing by Tim's!!

You can only fish zones 1 and 2 right now, zone 3 is closed in the winter.

If you are comming in on 112 from seligman, at the bottom of the hill after you enter the park

you will see F-hwy, turn Right on F go till you see the sign that you are leaving R.R. State Park.

About a mile after the leaving sign, you'll see a big conservation parking lot on your right, you

can pull in there and park, walk straight down to the river and fish down stream, up stream is zone 3

and as earlier stated, it is off limits in the winter.

Or go past the conservation pull off area, to the next road to the right, go to bottom of hill, R.R will be

on your right, get out there and go fishing, there are fish all up and down thru there.

Good luck.
