Paola Cat Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 KSBass and I headed down to BSSP hoping that the action would improve from several weeks ago. Made it down for the siren. Simply put, the action was slow. Brought to hand somewhere between 25-30 for the day between us. Fished all 3 zones. No consistent action and no consistent pattern. The crowds were huge again. Right now, BSSP is fishing tough ..... unless you're fishing for SMBs and goggle eyes in the Suzy Hole. PC Cheers. PC
Bob A Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 As a follow-up, fished zone 1 for a couple of hours today, Jan 3rd (Sat) 12:00-2:00 PM. Very light crowd, water nicely off-color, good drift and temps about 74 degrees. Really tough fishing with the water a little bit high. Managed to pick up six on a black wooly, but had to work for them. Observed very few being caught by other anglers. Slow fishing to be sure but to be on the water with 74 degrees, nice breeze and lots of sunshine : priceless. Bob A Springfield
