timsfly Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 That is one good looking turtle, bet I could lose it on the first cast or two. I'll bet a big ole bass would eat it. Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
Jeremy Hunt Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Graham is sick!! I've been a big fan of his work for years. He's also a great photographer that gets pictures in American Angler and Fly Fisherman. I've chatted with him on the phone a few times, great guy to talk to. Very down to earth. His flies are so real he actual makes them for props in movies etc. He told me a movie Brad Pitt is in recently has his flies as props. Pretty cool!! Accept the drift.....<>>><flysandguides.comVisit my blog
soggyfeet Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Man if that salmon fly was his first attept I dont have a chance. I could tie 1000 of those and they would not look anything close to that. Brian

Andy & JoAnne Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 That turtle is amazing. I could see how people get addicted to this hobby.
MrsDucky Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 WOW! So, for the next fly swap... Or maybe not...If I did succeed in tying one, it would NEVER be attached to a line! It would be on display. I can bring home the trout...fry it up in a pan...and never let you forget I caught it! 'Cause I'm a woman!
DD'sMC Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I would love to get into a Swap or two with Graham!!!! Just don't think he'd have as much appreciation for my woolly buggers as I would for his terrapins!!! We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
