Jason Essary Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 k, next question. What is one of my old graphs worth used, so that I might be able to aid in the purchase of a si unit? Anyone here possibly interested? Its a lxc 15 and I love to watch the fish on it. Coyote, well not too sure what the used Lowarnce go for, you might want to look around some of the other sites on the web for used units and their cost. Once you get a price place it on Craigs List, I sell alot of things on there fast. Ok, well good luck I'm going out of town until late Jan so hope you find what you are looking for.. lonkm Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 look on e bay for units like yours. That will give you an idea what they are selling for
J.E. Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 You do not want to use the internal GPS antenna if you are dash mounting the unit.
CaptainJoe Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I agree with LonkM....I bought a LCX-15MT on Ebay 7 months ago for $350 for my pontoon. Ebay is your best source to research prices. Members Tritonbass Posted February 16, 2010 Members Posted February 16, 2010 The Humminbird SI units (no matter which model you chose) are WELL worth the money! I've found structure I never knew was there on lakes I've been fishing for 30 years or more!! I know for sure it's improved my catch rate. I love being able to drive past structure at a great distance and mark it on the gps without driving over it and spooking the fish. I'll probably have a 797 for sale here fairly soon as I will be upgrading to a 997 some time this spring. West Marine, Grand Rapids MI
Fishing Buddy Don House Posted February 16, 2010 Fishing Buddy Posted February 16, 2010 Hi all - I've noticed that more than a few of the folks on this site use a Humminbird SI sonar. I'm not looking to spend the cash req'd to get a 900 or 1100 series unit. Based on your experience, is the 700 series smaller screen still sufficient to add some significant value over a std sonar? Thanks in advance for your feedback. edwin You ever buy one?? Capt.
