Hobie Kayaks

I just went to the KC sportshow and was looking at a couple dealers that were selling kayaks. Some of these were peddle powered and looked pretty neat and convienant. I was just wondering if anyone on here knows anything about these type of boats.

I have a Hobie Cat, it is I think a Hank Parker special, it has

the peddels and rudder, I like the rudder very much, I haven't used

the peddles much, but the few time I put them in they worked

just like the video shows on the Hobie cat web site.

If you are interested in one, I'll sell you mine at the

wholesale price, I'm going to pick up a new preditor over at

Dynamic earth this spring.

Mine is 3 years old and only used on sundays to

pull stumps, and a little drag racing

It retailed for 1495.00, I paid 850.00+ 75.00 for the shipping.

I would take 800.00 for the Kayak, with the seat, paddle,

and peddle system, I think they are still about 1500.00

haven't check the retail price in awhile.
