I registered here last April, but haven't posted anything yet. I thought it was time to quit "lurking". I enjoy reading the posts here. Although I've been fishing for several years now, I still consider myself a newbie. My brother, his father-in-law and I have a yearly fishing trip each April. We started going to Grand in OK, but we didn't fare well with the crappies (We're probably the only three guys who couldn't catch them there). 3 years ago we went to LoZ for the first time on the Niangua side and hit the motherlode. We've been going there ever since. It is a beautiful lake and we really enjoy our time there.

Anyway, enough rambling. I really enjoy the forum and I'll let you know how we do on this year's trip.

Welcome aboard. Look forward to your posts.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
