Members Okiedog Posted March 25, 2006 Members Posted March 25, 2006 I heard that Navionics was surveying the ROCK last year some time. I have a Lowrance LMS 334c that handles Hotmaps, among others, what I was wondering was if the ultra-detailed lake maps for the ROCK are available yet or are only the Hotmaps Classic available? On Navionics website they have many Missouri lakes listed under Hotmaps Premium("maps for serious anglers") but under the source key they have the source listed and Fishing Hot Spots, which are okay but I dont know if that is what they consider ultra detailed or not. If they dont have the Hotmaps Premiums available yet does anyone know when they will be??

You can see a post I did about this at : http://ozarkanglers.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=982 It will be early in '07 before it is available. It is kind of confusing to me exactly what it will offer and what units it will work on without software upgrades to the depthfinder. You can call Navionics and actually talk to a live person and ask questions, let me know if you understand the answer. Members Okiedog Posted March 26, 2006 Author Members Posted March 26, 2006 thanks SKMO, I look forward to the new maps, but in the meantime I am going to have to get the Classic, I cant wait until next year, I will worry about that next year. I would think as far a compatibility goes, it would be in Navionics best interest to make them as backward compatible as they can. My Lowrance LMS 334C is new so I am pretty confident it will work. The paper maps are going to be great also. That lake is so old it will interesting to see the bottom changes that have occured. Have a good one.
