Members riverfish86 Posted March 23, 2009 Members Posted March 23, 2009 I have been fishing there for 15 years. My dad has been fishing there for about 40. We are good friends with the Graven's and stay in touch but since Dale had been sick, we didn't get down as much. If I hear anything, I will certainly pass it on.
KCRIVERRAT Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 There was a good article about him in the KC Star not too long ago. Go to kansascity.com and look for it in the archives. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
Members Kc River Ratt Posted August 28, 2010 Members Posted August 28, 2010 Anyone do any smallie fishing up this way? Been too Gravens twice now and both time the river looked like a catfish pond more then an ozark river. Planning my trips from KC a ahead of time doesnt always sit well with Mother Nature and its rained prior too my arriving. So I guess my other question is does the water up this way clear up aswell? Thanx in advance....
Members bronzeback miner Posted August 30, 2010 Members Posted August 30, 2010 Usually no, it has a large drainage area with lots of farmland so once it gets muddy it stays that way for a while, kind of like Boeurbose and James River south of Springfield "Some people fish all their life never knowing it is not the fish they are after"--Henry David Thoreau
