GloryDaze Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I have to admit that of all the posts on this site it seems that Al really knows his stuff- Anytime I post and Al responds I get excited to try what he is suggesting. I'm not sure how many others feel this way, but I want to say thanks to Al for his generosity in sharing the knowledge he has fishing Ozark streams. I have learned so much from this site from where to fish to what lures to try and what colors would most likely work. I guess I'm just getting excited that spring is around the corner and I am literally chompin' at the bit to catch some smallies!! Here's to spring being just around the corner-- Follow me on Twitter @DazeGlory

His posts are great.
405z06 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Agreed. I have been familiar with Al's art for years and years, but I had no idea he lived in my own backyard and fished many of the same waters. His posts on here are really, really good, too.
G-ROD Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Never met Al YET, but can't read enough of what he writes!!!!!!!!!! -------------------- Mo Smallmouth Hunter Gary
Al Agnew Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Thanks a lot, guys, glad you appreciate my stuff...As you can easily tell, I'm nuts about river fishing and smallmouth bass. I get real cranky if I don't get on the river at least once a week. And since I've been fishing Ozark streams since I was about 7 years old (which was almost 50 years ago), I oughta know a little bit about it. Hope to meet all of you in person one of these days.
