This year we are pleased to have regional and national fly tiers coming to the event, Jeff (Bear) Andrews plus we will have Jr. Crow here tying some of their favorite flies. Jeff Andrews is a fly innovator for Umpqua Feather Merchants he will be tying some of his favorite Steelhead, Small Mouth and Trout patterns. On Saturday at 2p.m. he will be doing a program on fishing Labrador for Giant Brooke Trout. Believe me you will not want to miss this. Plus this year we have added a day with Jeff, this will happen on Friday, it will be an all day Fly tying class starting at 10a.m. He will be teaching some of the fundamental techniques of fly tying but he will also show you what has made him to be one of the best Steelhead fly tiers in the world. The costs of the class will be $25.00/person: The class has limited space so hurry and get your name on the list. We also have Jr. Crow coming; he is a guide in Arkansas for Small Mouth and Trout on Crooked Creek and the world famous White River. He works with Duane Hada who will also be here painting some of his great watercolors. Steve Brigman will also be here signing his new book Somebody’s Gotta Do It a collection of his short stories. Steve is a freelance writer, writing for regional and national papers about his adventures in the wild. He is now the Producer of Bass Edge Television show that’s airs at 2:30p.m. every Saturday on the Versus Channel. Steve is a great guy and has a lot of funny stories and probably has a few that might be used as black mail on me. Plus we will have our casting pond set up so that you may go out and test the new fly rod of your dreams, or enter our fly-casting completion and test you skills. Top 3 distances will win a prize. Hope that you and your family will be able to attend.
